Made using a hand-operated gun-like machine to shoot fibers onto canvas stretched on a frame. The rug is always tufted from back onto front. Once complete, loops may be visible, shaved down, or carved to create definition in the pattern. Hand tufted carpets offer excellent value while maintaining artisanal quality.
